The Raska District covers an area of 3,918 km2 in the southern part of Serbia and the administrative center is the city of Kraljevo.
Kraljevo sits on the banks of the river Ibar, between the mountains Kotlenik and Stolovi.
This area's industry is dominated by non-metal and electronics companies, as well as a rail car factory and a wood processing factory.
Several of the oldest orthodox monasteries are located in this area: Zica (built in 1220), Sopocani and Studenica.
There are several spa centers in the district, but the most famous is Vrnjacka Banja with hot springs and well developed tourism and a water processing industry.
