Livno canton, formerly Canton 10, is situated near the border with Croatia. Its two largest cities are Livno and Tomislavgrad.

With two lakes (Busko and Kupres), green forests and high mountains, which make the natural border between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, it attracts nature lovers and ski tourists from neighboring countries.

Livno is known for its cheese, which was first made during the Austro-Hungarian period.

The second largest town, Tomislavgrad, gained its name as king Tomislav’s ancient city. Today, it is in a very hard economic situation with a very high emigration rates.
